Lovingly crafted by a friend of Art Connecting Hearts. Each painting provides 10 eye exams or eyeglasses for two children in need.

Barbara Haynes is a Wichita, KS artist who specializes in mixed media works. She teaches mixed media classes at City Arts, The Studios in Old Town, and at the Carriage Factory Gallery in Newton. Her work is featured at Gallery 12 in Wichita, and at the Carriage Factory Gallery in Newton and has been featured in many local shows including the National Abstract Show at Mark Arts, City Arts, Gallery 12, One Door North in McPherson, and the Carriage Factory Gallery.

She is happy to participate in this worthy cause created by Balir Mathur to provide glasses to underprivileged children. After teaching special education for 27 years, she understands the importance of good vision in the learning environment and the role vision plays in classroom success.
